In continuation of my Despatch No.130 of the
22nd April, 1914, I have the honour to transmit the enclos-
ed summary of piracies and robberies reported in the Chinese
Press as having taken place in the Province of Kuangtung
during the month of April. One report was made to this
Government which related to the s.s. "Tại On" which fonned
the subject of my despatch No.147 of the 2nd instant. In
this instance the attack occurred outside the jurisdiction
of the Colony.

I have sent a copy of this Despatch to His
Majesty's Minister at Peking.
